Mesostic Poetry

Back

YOU ONLY MISS THEM The reading for this piece is rather simple, just go from left to right and up and down as your normally would when reading a poem. After reading through both pages of the poem, read the spine words. This is a poem taken from two short stories that I wrote Reaper and My Sister Sarah. Each one dealt with death in a different way. Reaper involved the Grim Reaper going around and killing people, such as the protagonist. My Sister Sarah detailed how the protagonist coped after the loss of their older sister. I wanted to see what would come if I put these stories together (via a mesostic generator), and I got this. Strangely, despite the tones of the beginning of both stories being completely different (which is the part that each story that came out of the generator), the tone manages to remain consistent throughout the entirety of the new piece.
